Stem in the Face is an innovative after-school activity focusing on the fibonacci sequence of “Golden 
Beauty”. Students apply science and math technology in order to learn makeup application, as well as, research the ingredients and adverse effects of skincare. According to the 2009 university study of attractiveness, the “Golden” ratio appears extensively in the human face and illustrated by Florence Colgate.
Students will also have the opportunity to make their own, natural beauty products. Students will be making the following:
  • Fall Meeting: Pumpkin Spice Latte Facial Mask
  • Winter Meeting: Peppermint Scrub
  • Spring Meeting: Rose Water Spray
  • Summer Meeting: Cucumber Lotion
