This year the Dobyns-Bennett High School Bands football halftime show was entitled "The Music of Metallica."

Metallica is hosting a national contest called "For Whom the Band Tolls" and bands submit videos that are judged in three stages. Five finalists from the categories of high school, small college, and large college are selected and then Metallica picks a single winner from each... That band wins $15,000!

Voting also occurs in each category and the "Fan Favorite" from the five finalists wins an additional $10,000!
