Eastman’s Black History Oratorical Contest provides local high school students an opportunity to develop a
deeper understanding of Black and African American contributors to the academic disciplines of science,
technology, engineering and math (STEM). It also provides the students with an opportunity to improve their
writing, communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Click on the headline above to get details on prizs, eligibility, and contest requirements. The submission deadline is Monday, January 4, 2027 at 11:59 p.m.

College App Week - The entire week is devoted to helping seniors with any college needs! Date: 9/17/2026 Location: Visit the library any time during blocks B and C Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. Wednesday will be specifically a UT-Knoxville day during B and C blocks. D-B Counselors and our Niswonger College Counselor will be in the library that week during B and C blocks! Drop by and visit! |
