Seniors, we have many who have not ordered a cap and gown for graduation. Make sure you get your order in so you have what you need on graduation day. Open the D-B website, then click on "Students", then "Current 12th Grade - Class of 2025", then find the Jostens link. Friday, March 21 is the last day to order and guarantee delivery during our distribution days after spring break. If you have any questions you can email Ms. Johnson and she can help you out.

Katie Kimbro, Special Education Teacher at D-B EXCEL has been named the District's High School Teacher of the Year.

Shanna Hensley, Principal, D-B EXCEL, has been named the District Principal of the Year for Kingsport City Schools.

The start of purging the special education records of former students whose birth years are 1995, 1996, and 1997.

Students will pursue the Associate of Science, General TBR Transfer degree through a mix of courses taught at Dobyns-Bennett High School, the Kingsport Center for Higher Education, and online.

Dr. Kelley Harrell, John Adams Elementary School Principal, has been named the 2024-25 State of Tennessee Principal of the Year.

Teachers of the Year include Addison Hale-Benton (Grades Pre-K–4), Heather Bishop (Grades 5–8), and Katie Kimbro (Grades 9–12).

Rylee Adams, D-B EXCEL senior, was one of only four students awarded nationally.

This specialty license plate will be a legal, registered Tennessee specialty license plate that can be renewed each year. This is not a decorative or novelty plate.
